STT Comments
If you like easy listening folk/roots, Sue and Dwight will not disappoint. Their music is original, meaningful, and has that quality of bringing you into the music that will make you want to sing along.
Originally from the prairies and having spent some time in Africa, many of their stories reflect the people, history and land of these areas. Note, that I said “stories”. Not only are they talented singers, songwriters, and musicians, but their stories are on par with Gordon LIghtfoot and Harry Chapin, with some of their stories as Canadiana as Pierre Burton, while their music and style are unique to Sue and Dwight.
Where can you hear them?
At the time this was written (Sept. 2009), Sue and Dwight perform almost every Saturday 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at The Cameron House 408 Queens St. W. (one block west of Spadina) From October to June.
